David has experience in a range of art and design areas having graduated in Fine Arts in 2002 from Carmarthenshire College of Arts and Technology with a 2:1 BA Honours degree.

He specialised in Fine Art Sculpture and 3D design, working with a range of materials including stone, steel, wood and ceramics.  David received  the 'Student of the Year' Award in stone sculpture in all 3 years of his degree due to his enthusiasm and technical ability. 

David represented the college at the National Eisteddfodd of Wales at Llanelli in 2000.  As part of a team, he helped to produce a large bronze sculpture of a 'rope' which is sited within the Cardiff Bay development.
